Seven Popakademie acts and alumni at the Mannheim City Festival

21. May 2024

This year, the largest open-air event in the region invites you to celebrate again from May 24 - 26 with free admission. There will be a varied musical program on four stages, including seven Popakademie acts and alumni live on stage.

The stage at the water tower, presented by the radio station bigfm, will open musically on Friday, May 24, from 7:15 pm with Popakademie act Jesse Tellem.

On the stage at the water tower, presented by Radio Regenbogen, visitors can look forward to two Popakademie acts. On 25.05, at 16.00, it starts with NNOA and on 26.05 at 16.30 it continues with Popakademie act JUPYTER.

Kummerfeld will also be playing on the KulturNetz stage in the planks between squares O 5 and O 6 on Saturday, May 25 from 8.00 pm. Sendi Hoxha at 6.30 p.m. and Maiva at 8.45 p.m. on the KulturNetz stage will conclude the Sunday.

Alumni Cris Cosmo will also be playing on the RNF stage at Paradeplatz on 24.05. at 20.00.

The performances of NNOA, JUPYTER and Maiva were arranged by the Popakademie's own artist agency KLINKT, which has been helping Popakademie solo musicians, bands and producers with live events or music marketing projects since 2007. The artist and exploitation agency is thus the interface between the musicians: the Popakademie and the economy and society in the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region.
