Popakademie offers further free online seminars

On 27 and 28 March 2021, the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg is offering seminars in music business and pop music design. Due to the Corona pandemic, the seminars are offered free of charge and online."Following the positive response last semester, we are pleased to be able to offer further online seminars in the spring, giving anyone interested the opportunity to benefit from the knowledge and experience of our high-calibre lecturers. During this time, it is important to offer support in the form of free continuing education in the artistic and musical field," says Prof. Hubert Wandjo, Business Director and Managing Director of the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg.Steffen Geldner offers the seminar Spotify and YouTube for Releases, which is about self-marketing on the net. He works as a lecturer specialising in digital music marketing. Florian Brauch will lecture on the topic of artist management. He has been working in the music industry for 20 years, among other things as a lecturer for music business and branding. In the area of pop music design, further online seminars are offered in preparation for the Bachelor's degree. For example, a drum workshop for advanced drummers of all styles by Prof. Udo Dahmen. Prof. Udo Dahmen is the artistic director and managing director of the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg and has been active as a drummer for over 50 years, including for Sting.The guitar coaching of Prof. Peter Wölpl also offers assistance to interested applicants. He works as a lecturer for guitar at the Popakademie, among others, and is active worldwide as a professional musician. In the vocal and songwriting coaching by Prof. Annette Marquard, participants have the opportunity to present an application song. She works as department chief in the singer/songwriter department at the Popakademie.In addition to the free seminars, the digital preparatory course Music Theory and Aural Training by Manuel Steinhoff specifically prepares applicants for the entrance exam at the Popakademie. Manuel Steinhoff studied at the Pop Academy and has been active internationally as a bass player, songwriter and producer for years.
