Open Call for the Giga Hertz Prize

The Giga-Hertz Prize for Electronic Music and Sound Art has been awarded by the ZKM | Karlsruhe and the SWR Experimentalstudio since 2007. With entries from over 40 countries, it is one of the most prestigious prizes of its kind internationally. This year, the ZKM | Karlsruhe is providing total prize money of €25,000. The award ceremony will take place during the Giga-Hertz Festival 2025 from November 20th to 22nd.
A total of three awards will be presented and non-cash prizes will be awarded. The Popakademie Baden-Württemberg will support the winners of the PopExperimental Production Award in the production of the song by providing technical expertise and production resources. The application can be submitted until July 1st 2025 here.
