The application for the study programs at the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg is now online. The application documents and all required work samples can simply be filled out and uploaded on the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg homepage.

Online application now possibleMusic is passion. But music is also strategy, innovation and change. Many want to be among the movers, shakers and decision-makers instead of standing on the stage. To this end, the bachelor's program Music Business not only teaches the basics of business administration, but also specific knowledge of the music industry and the latest developments in the digital world. Application deadline: April 30, 2022.

Your thing: Managing creativity?! In the master's program Music and Creative Industries, everything revolves around the marketing of creative content. The focus, of course, is on music. However, due to the increasing overlap of the individual sub-sectors of the creative industries, such as film, games or advertising, the content in the study program is always taught across all sectors. Thanks to this unique and future-oriented approach, our alumni are true industry all-rounders and can later work in the music industry as well as in the other sub-sectors of the creative industries. Application deadline: June 15, 2022.

Developing musical talent, awakening creativity, accelerating potential. A central focus of the Pop Music Design bachelor's degree program is individual work on students' own concepts, current compositions, lyrics, and productions. Artist personalities of all styles of popular music from punk to funk and EDM to hip-hop are encouraged. Application deadline: April 30, 2022.

The bachelor's program World Music covers the focus areas of Turkish, Arabic, and West African music and their connection to popular music both in their countries of origin and in their cultural development in the local popular culture. Application deadline: April 30, 2022.

Your music, your style, your career. The Master's program Popular Music is aimed at all university graduates who have practical musical experience at a high level. Stylistically, there are no restrictions. Anything within the context of popular music is allowed, for example pop, rock, singer/songwriter, soul, reggae, punk, metal, techno, and hip-hop. Application deadline: April 30, 2022.
