Mannheim presents itself at the Reeperbahn Festival

The largest club festival in Europe will take place on the Reeperbahn in Hamburg from 19 to 22 September. The Reeperbahn Festival has long since established itself as the central networking platform for musicians from all fields. At the reception "Meet the Mannheimers" the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg in cooperation with the Music Commission Mannheim and "I'M SOUND" presents three own live bands.
At the "Meet the Mannheimers" reception, the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg in cooperation with the Music Commission Mannheim and "I'M SOUND", the Mannheim-based sound equipment insurance company, will present three live bands of their own. MADANII, Blinker and Riot of Colours will perform on Thursday, September 20th at the legendary Indra Club, where the Beatles once played their first German gig.The first German night mayor of the UNESCO City of Music Mannheim, Popakademie graduate Hendrik Meier, will also be a guest in Hamburg. In the course of the event, the Rhine-Neckar Club and Event Culture Association will present a study on the subject of "Music Industry in the Rhine-Neckar Metropolitan Region" as well as the programme and the election of the new "Night Mayor" for Mannheim.
