Gold for Bandpool artists

15. October 2021

Former Bandpool participants LOTTE and Max Giesinger received gold status for their single "Auf das, was da noch kommt".

The song, which was released in August 2019, was written by Max Giesinger and Lotte in collaboration with Jules Kalmbacher and Jens Schneider, who also produced the single. Both studied at the Popakadmemie. Jules Kalmbacher is a graduate of the Bachelor's program in Music Business and Jens Schneider is a graduate of the Bachelor's program in Pop Music Design.

The single "Auf das, was da noch kommt" can be found on the "Deluxe Version" of Giesinger's third studio album Die Reise as well as on Lotte's second studio album Glück.
Max Giesinger, who has already enjoyed great success in the German-speaking world, was part of the 13th generation of the Popakademie's Bandpool. LOTTE was also part of the 18th generation Bandpool.

The Bandpool is the top support program of the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg, in which bands and solo acts from all over Germany are coached and supported over 18 months, during ten workshop weekends in Mannheim. The goal is to prepare them for entry into the professional music business.

Lotte made it into the German singles charts for the first time with the single "Auf das, was da noch kommt" ("Here's to what's still to come"); for Max Giesinger, it's already the fifth time. The song reached number 40 and stayed in the Top 100 for over 14 weeks.

The accompanying music video, in which many German celebrities make a guest appearance, is also worth seeing.
