Mic Check interview format - the FSJ Culture Project 2025

07. July 2025

Anastasia Stümpfl, Joshua Hamleh and Marie Stumpf independently designed and implemented the interview format ‘Mic Check’ as part of their Voluntary Social Year (FSJ-Kultur) at the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg.

The aim of the project is to support Popakademie artists in their public visibility and offer them a platform for authentic self-presentation. In personal interviews, the musicians talk about their artistic careers, their own songs and answer entertaining questions that give the audience a close-up insight.

"Mic Check" helps participants to present themselves professionally in digital spaces and build their reach.

The project thus makes an important contribution to the promotion of young creative artists and at the same time strengthens the visibility of the Popakademie as a cultural educational institution.

The first three episodes with FINJA, PAUL FALC and Clara Staude can already be found on the Popakademie's social media channels:

The final episode with interview guest Laura Di Natali will be released on Wednesday, July 09 at 6pm on Popakademie's Instagramand TikTok channel.

The Landesvereinigung Kulturelle Jugendbildung (LKJ) Baden-Württemberg offers voluntary services in the fields of culture and education. Young people can get involved in cultural and educational activities for a year. The Popakademie offers three FSJ positions each year.
