The winners of Songs 2024

22. May 2024

On Friday, May 3rd 2024, the final of SONGS, the songwriting competition of the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg for students, took place. Special guest at the SpardaWelt Eventcenter in Stuttgart was former SONGS winner Enya Boban.
The "SONGS" competition is sponsored by the Education and Social Foundation of Sparda-Bank Baden-Württemberg.

The winners were:
1st place Luca - I'm okay from Bunsengymnasium in Heidelberg
2nd place Lisette Noelia - Feierabend from the Lahr Municipal Music School
3rd place Emily Lady Star - Stop asking the butterfly from Geschwister Scholl Gymnasium Stuttgart

The Youngster Award went to the Songwriting AG of Hohenstaufen Gymnasium Göppingen with their song "Das Mädchen mit dem Perlohrring". The special performance prize was awarded to the Bach Brothers from Goethe-Gymnasium Emmendingen for their song "Fliegen". The Bach Brothers also opened the anniversary concert of the 20th edition of the International Street Music Festival in Ludwigsburg on May 16th 2024.
The winners will receive non-cash prizes worth €10,000 as well as professional coaching at the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg. All songs can be viewed here.
