Bandpool @ Southside Festival

The Popakademie Baden-Württemberg will once again be represented at the Southside Festival in 2026 by several artists from its flagship support program, Bandpool. A total of five current and former Bandpool acts will take the stage at the renowned festival, underscoring the lasting impact of the support program.
Among the acts performing are PROVINZ (Bandpool 2018), who will take the Blue Stage on Friday, as well as current Bandpool participant TUSKER (Bandpool 2026), who will make his Southside debut on Saturday. To coincide with the festival, Tusker is also releasing their new single “Langsam.” Also on Saturday, RIKAS (Bandpool 2017) and BETTEROV (Bandpool 2019) are on the festival lineup. Rounding out the lineup is KASI (Bandpool 2023), who will take the Red Stage on Sunday.The presence of five Bandpool acts at one of Germany’s largest festivals underscores the Bandpool’s importance as a talent incubator for outstanding up-and-coming artists. Each year, the Popakademie’s support program assists selected acts through individual coaching, workshops, networking opportunities, and targeted career development.
