Bandpool acts at the Weldefest

Welde turns on the spotlight for two bands from the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg band pool on Friday, July 19, 2024 at 7 pm at Weldefest. "Spotlight on Artists" is a joint project by Welde and Bandpool for artists and bands from all over Germany. The aim is to support up-and-coming musical talent and give them visibility. Five acts are currently in the spotlight.
Until Saturday, July 7, 2024, the public will decide which two bands will perform live at Weldefest via online voting at www.welde.de/spotlight! The exciting and stylistically very different artists Kat Kit (jazzy pop beats), Marlo Grosshardt (critical lyrics in a rough pop guise), Naomi Westlake (modern off-pop), Nico Onur (German-language indie pop) and Remote Bondage (alternative pop-rock) are available to vote for. "We are delighted to be working with Welde on "Spotlight on Artist". This brings together two brands with strong regional roots in the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region that not only stand for great tradition and high quality, but also cause a sensation beyond the region. A freshly tapped beer in your hand and a rousing band on stage - sounds like a perfect experience, doesn't it?" explains Nils Max from Bandpool.
The idea came from Welde boss Max Spielmann: "Welde stands for enjoyment. We have been promoting creative talent for a long time. And we love music and those who make it. So we sat down together and looked at how we could bring all of this together," he explains.
