Michael Koschorreck

Guitar, Bandcoaching

Mother is Bossa, father the Blues.

Michael Koschorreck alias Kosho has been playing the guitar for himself, his audience and colleagues like Wallis Bird, Mine, Les McCann, Michal Urbaniak, Clueso, Max Mutzke, Fetsum, Thomas Godoj, André Heller, Queen Esther Marrow, Xavier Naidoo, Cae Gauntt, Jessica Born, Wolfgang Haffner, Zelia Fonseca, Edo Zanki, Nena and many more for more than 45 years.

As a singer/songwriter, he has released three solo albums to date and has been a member of the "Söhne Mannheims", which have been awarded the "Echo" and "Comet" awards since 1999.

Not only solo, but also together in a duo with Munich concert guitarist Augustin Wiedemann, as Bar Kody with Berlin singer Katja Ohde and in the Hammond organ trio Cobody, he explores live on stage musical borderlands between dowland and downbeat.

Kosho is happy to pass on his rich experience, as a permanent lecturer at the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg, the State Conservatory Vorarlberg, the Bundesakademie Trossingen and at workshops at home and abroad.
