World Drum Festival 2024

On Saturday, November 30, 2024, the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg is organizing the tenth World Drum Festival in cooperation with the Cultural Office of the City of Mannheim and the European drum and percussion association "Percussion Creativ". This year's World Drum Festival is curated by Anika Nilles.

"I am delighted to be curating the anniversary edition of the World Drum Festival. We invite all interested drummers and percussionists to the World Drum Festival at the Popakademie", says Anika Nilles, Artistic/Expert Advice & Project Support Drums at the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg.

Taking part this year are: Gergo Borlai (drums), Simon Gattringer (drums / hybrid), Martina Barakoska (drums), Arthur Dubois (drums / hybrid), Claudio Spieler (percussion), Melissa Hié (percussion).
