Bandpool application phase begins

"Since 1998, Bandpool has been an outstanding support program that has already shaped numerous careers. Over 150 acts have benefited from this support, and we are proud of our results: 70 major deals, 86 chart placements, several gold awards, several ECHO nominations, two ECHOs, nine Radio Regenbogen Awards, and numerous other prizes. Bands such as Marlo Grosshardt, ClockClock, Revolverheld, Max Giesinger, Lotte, and Provinz started their careers here," says Michael Herberger, Business Director and Managing Director of the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg.

"The Popakademie's Bandpool provides targeted support to artists in all relevant phases of their development. Visibility, know-how, and networking are the three pillars that turn creative talents into marketable artists. At the same time, close connections and friendships are formed here that extend far beyond the program—a network that strengthens each other. Those who go through the band pool enter the music industry with a clear perspective and professional clout," says Daniel Schmidt, Head of Artist Agency Klinkt, Bandpool, Regionet.

The project is free of charge for participants. The focus is on individual coaching and support measures and the establishment of a functional network of business partners. Together with experts from the industry, the Popakademie team works with the musicians for 18 months on important topics, from songwriting to interview training, from music law to strategic planning.
