In the “Popakademie Talks” series, guests from the music and culture sector talk about various current topics.
The Popakademie initiated the talk series in 2021 to respond to current issues and invite artists and creative professionals to discuss current topics. The talks are moderated by Head of Studies Prof. Dr. David-Emil Wickström, among others.
Previous topics have included discrimination in music, mental health, music & environment, music & sustainability and music & power.
In the winter semester 2024/25, Jakub Machek, Ondřej Daniel and Zdeněk Nebřenský will be guests and talk about “Czech Pop Culture”.
