Music business students realize project with Bamboo Artists

As part of their Music Business BA degree at the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg, students Sophia Walter, Sina Mücke, Lisa Binnewies, and Maximilian Kitzberger took part in an exciting and practical project: together, they developed an innovative marketing strategy for the artist Ritter Lean, who is signed to Bamboo Artists. The aim of the collaboration was to develop strategies that would enable Ritter Lean to reach new target groups for his upcoming EP – deliberately going beyond traditional social media approaches. The project was led by Max Fellner (freelance product manager) and Popakademie graduate Isidora Eror (Bamboo Artists).

Sunday Beats - yara
On Sunday August 17th 2025 yara will be performing at Sunday Beats.

yara know exactly what they stand for: energetic indie rock, infused with sharp-tongued, poetic lyrics and an irrepressible desire to experiment. Their music combines raw emotion with clear expression - always with the feeling that anything is possible. The band - Jakob, Lisa, Gio und Jacque - harmonize not only musically, but also in their shared vision. Their songs focus on togetherness, longing and the urge for something greater. Especially live, they show their full power: with a theatrical presence and a
presence and a fine feel for the audience, they transform concerts into intense experiences, for example at the Elektrik Pony Cup. With their single Maria Hagen, yara make a statement - uncompromising, powerful and full of self-confidence. For them, 2023 is all about the stage: they use every show to further develop their music, try out new songs and draw the audience into their world.

The concert starts at 3 pm and is included in park admission.

Sunday Beats - Naomi Westlake
© Aylin Ermutlu
Naomi Westlake will be performing at Sunday Beats on Sunday, September 21st 2025.

Feeling the bass in your veins and questioning the world at the same time is a match in her music. Naomi Westlake moved to Berlin at the age of 20 to make a name for herself with her definition of electronic off-pop. She combines modern Anglicism with profound, German pop lyrics and thematically always picks up on the escapism of her existence. Her sound world is mostly inspired by British role models such as Charli XCX, Fred Again or Kenya Grace. Thanks to her bilingual upbringing, she began writing lyrics in
German and English and achieved international success by collaborating with artists such as Sonny Wern, Lyente and OldJim. Her remix single of Nena's “Irgendwie, irgendwo, irgendwann”, together with OldJim and Caro van Ee, cracked the 3 million streams mark in 2024, and we can all be very excited to see what else is in store for us in the future. Their live set is as contrasting as their music. Her energy on stage is carried by strobe lights and techno dance moves, and at the same time she can silence an entire room with her quieter songs. Whether in a small setting as a DJ set or with a full band... Naomi makes people laugh and cry at the same time in no time at all.

The concert starts at 3 pm and is included in the park admission.
