Summer Break Sessions: Planetarium
An exciting semester at the Popakademie is coming to an end. Before the musicians head off for summer break, there’s still a week of thrilling live gigs to enjoy with the SUMMER BREAK SESSIONS.

Once again this year, two acts will be performing at the Planetarium:

Kat Kit’s current sound blends hyperpop, electronic soundscapes, and catchy melodies. Last year, she was named Newcomer of the Year by local heroes and featured on SWR, Deutschlandfunk, and Titel, Thesen, Temperamente, among others. Using synths, vocoders, and autotune, she creates a unique, playful sound to which her delicate voice lends a special touch.

The 26-year-old producer and singer-songwriter Eva Betzinger from southern Munich is the artist behind the HAIVE project. With bass-heavy, atypical industrial pop, she moves between dark pop and midtempo—genres that demand an attentive ear and are aimed at an audience that expects more from music than mere background entertainment.

Admission: €18, Students: €7.50
