We are very happy to welcome you in our house. The Popakademie Baden-Württemberg is a barrier-free building. The building has barrier-free access, the bus stop in front of the building is also barrier-free and therefore easy to reach by public transport. The Popakademie has a handicapped parking space, a handicapped accessible WC with a pull cord and emergency call switch, the doors are suitable for wheelchair users according to DIN18040 and can be operated by pushbuttons and are equipped with finger protection. A lift with Braille lettering and a stretcher are available in case of failure. In the house there are generous movement areas with turning possibilities and there are no thresholds. A pictorial description with common pictograms ensures easy orientation in the house. Ramps and fall protection are available for the stages. Popakademie alumnus finds success with digital detox startup
Since mid-2025, Popakademie alumnus Konstantin Singer has been making waves in the startup scene with an innovative idea: With the Zenbox he developed, he is sending a clear message about taking intentional digital breaks in everyday life and fostering greater focus, clarity, and calm. The Zenbox is a physical device that helps users put their smartphones down intentionally. With it, Singer taps into the zeitgeist of an era in which digital distraction has become a daily challenge for many people.

The band ENGIN is releasing a new album and going on tour
The three-piece band ENGIN, consisting of singer and guitarist Engin Devekiran (B.A. in Pop Music Design), bassist David Knevels (M.A. in Popular Music), and drummer Jonas Stiegler, released their new album “Sag mir Almanya” on March 13, 2026. To mark the occasion, they performed the title track on ZDF Magazin Royale with Jan Böhmermann.
