We are very happy to welcome you in our house. The Popakademie Baden-Württemberg is a barrier-free building. The building has barrier-free access, the bus stop in front of the building is also barrier-free and therefore easy to reach by public transport. The Popakademie has a handicapped parking space, a handicapped accessible WC with a pull cord and emergency call switch, the doors are suitable for wheelchair users according to DIN18040 and can be operated by pushbuttons and are equipped with finger protection. A lift with Braille lettering and a stretcher are available in case of failure. In the house there are generous movement areas with turning possibilities and there are no thresholds. A pictorial description with common pictograms ensures easy orientation in the house. Ramps and fall protection are available for the stages. Bandpool Application Period Begins
The Popakademie Baden-Württemberg is looking for the 29th Bandpool cohort. Bandpool is the Popakademie’s premier support program, which operates outside the scope of its academic offerings. Bands, solo artists, and producers from all over Germany receive coaching and support. The goal is to prepare them for their entry into the professional music business. The new application period runs through November 22, 2026.

Popakademie alumni Hannes Braun and Jim Müller at No. 1 on the album charts
Popakademie alumni Hannes Braun and Jim Müller are once again at the top of the Official German Album Charts with their band Kissin' Dynamite: With their ninth studio album, “Kissin' Dynamite,” the rock band has reached number one on the LP charts for the second time in a row. Both singer Hannes and guitarist Jim earned a Bachelor of Arts in Pop Music Design from the Popakademie.
