New funding program: "Perspektive Pop"

08. October 2021

The Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts is targeting cultural institutions, creative artists, musicians, clubs and associations in Baden-Württemberg with its "Culture to Corona" program, which is endowed with 18.5 million euros.

The package consists of six programs: "Art Despite Distance," a scholarship program, "Young Perspectives" funding, as well as "Strong for the Future" and an investment program. In addition, the "Perspektive Pop" program was also launched, which is unique in this form: the live music scene is to be further developed through new artistic impulses. The aim is to strengthen creative artists and venues and to open up new locations. In addition to the use of unusual locations, such as vacant factory buildings, lofts or even stores, the opening of cultural institutions - theaters, museums or cinemas - for live music is also promoted. "Perspektive Pop" is aimed at all genres of popular music, cross-genre projects, singer/songwriters, the off- and subculture scene, young bands and established musicians.

Interested parties can still submit their applications until October 28, 2021 here.
